Hi, I'm Evelyn
I'm the face behind Early Intervention Collective.
I'm a qualified Early Childhood and Primary Teacher with over 13 years experience working alongside children and families across early childhood, school and early intervention settings.
Throughout my careers, I've always been drawn to supporting children who need a little extra help to participate, communicate, connect and feel confident in their everyday world. My expereince in early intervention has strengthened something I've always believed - some of the most meaningful progress happens when we met children where they are and build on the things they already love and do well.
I created Early Intervention Collective because I wanted to offer families support that feels personal, practical and connected to real life. That might mean working together at home, supporting your child within their preschool or school environment, getting out into the community, or finding simple strategies that make everyday routines a little easier.
I'm also a mum of three, so I understand that family life can be busy, messy and unpredictable. Strategies need to be realistic enough to actually use outside of a session - because that's where they can make the biggest difference.
My approach is centred around building genuine relationships with children and their families, celebrating strengths, working collaboratively and creating opportunities for children to develop skills at their own pace.
At EIC, it's not about changing who a child is.
It's about giving them the support, confidence and tools they need to participate in their world.
A little more about me...
When I'm not working with children and families, I'm usually embracing the beautiful chaos of life with my three kids.
I'm a soccer player and referee, a coffee lover, and someone who is always finding a new project to start - whether that's crocheting, creating something, or finding another reason to get involved in my local community.
I'm a big believer in keeping things real. Life with kids isn't always picture-perfect, and I think the best support comes from understanding the whole family, celebrating the little wins and finding strategies that actually work in everyday life.
You'll usually find me with a coffee in hand, probably juggling more things than I should be, and always in your corner.
